However, these guides are not essential, since the excursion is accompanied by a speech through the train's speakers, in Spanish and English, with extensive and entertaining information about Ibiza and its history that, although they do not have to coincide with the places that we will know are of interest to the visitor.

VILLAGE OF SAN CARLOS AND BEACHES
Duration aprox. 3 hours. An interesting and original tour of about 20 kms. through outstanding scenery, with frequent stops for refreshment. Much of the route runs along country lanes lined with a wide variety of trees and Mediterranean flora. It passes through the emblematic village of San Carlos de Peralta, where you can admire the austere beauty of its 18th century church. The tour then continues to the tourist area of Es Figueral Beach, an enchanting spot on the northeast coast of the island, from where you can contemplate the beautiful islet of Tagomago. After that, the route continues to Pou Des Lleó, a very picturesque old fishing port. The next stop is Cala Boix, the only beach on the island with dark sand and finally, skirting the coast, past the coves of Cala Mastella, Cala Llenya and Cala Nova. During the trip you will have time to relax and have a swim at one of the beaches we pass along the way.

Es Canar 15:30h

CULTURE, ECOLOGY AND BEACH
Duration aprox. 3 hours. This tour takes us through beautiful landscapes of the interior of the island along country roads, to discover the typical vegetation, architecture and much more of the island. The route passes through the emblematic village of San Carlos, where you can admire the austere beauty of its 18th century church. You will then visit a typical centuries-old farmhouse (entry free of charge) where you can learn about the daily life and work of Ibiza’s past inhabitants. The route continues to Puig de Missa, the hill on which stands the 16th century church of Santa Eulària des Riu, with its watchtower. The next stop is Niu Blau beach, which is not so crowded with tourists, where you can have a drink, rest or take a swim.

Es Canar Saturday 15:30h Las Dalias Hippie Market

Es Canar – Las Dalias «HIPPIE MARKET» – Playa Niu Blau – Es Canar

Duration aprox. 3 hours. Make the most of this outing to appreciate the beauty and tradition of the island’s interior as most of the route passes through little known country roads. Our destination is the Las Dalias Hippy Market that has been going for 35 years now, and you will spend about 1 hour 20 minutes there. This will give you sufficient time to do your shopping as you browse the various stalls selling products of every kind, mainly authentic crafts, and if you’re lucky you may just catch a live music performance, or you can enjoy a drink in one of the many bars… Later, we will pass through the village of Sant Carles, and we will visit the peaceful beach of Es Niu Blau where you can have a swim, or something to eat or drink in the shade of the lovely pinewood, or simply sunbathe. Finally, we will return to Es Cana along the Cala Martina coast road where you can see the Roman aqueduct of S´Argamassa, built in the 1st century BC.

Sant Miquel Monday and Friday 10:30h

San Miguel – Sant Joan – Playa Portinatx – Cala Xarraca – Sant Miquel
Duration aprox. 3:30 hours. We will be visiting the traditional little village of Sant Joan where you can admire the 18th century church, and you will still feel the vibe of this place’s hippy past. We will stop for refreshments and if you like you can try the local Ibizan herb liqueur and other typical island products in any of the bars. In addition, there are a number of small shops, a supermarket, pharmacy, tobacconist’s… if you would like to do a spot of shopping. We will then return to Portinatx on the old road with magnificent views of the country homesteads and the northern area of the island, where you can spend some time on one of the 3 beaches, do some shopping in the local shops or simply have a drink on one of the many cafe terraces. We will return to Port Sant Miquel along the picturesque coast of Cala Xarraca passing through the village of Sant Miquel.

Sant Miquel – HIPPY MARKET  Sant Joan –  San Vicent – Cala Sant Vicent – Sant Miquel
Duration aprox. 4 hours. We’re going to Cala Sant Vicent! During the trip you will be treated to fantastic views of the countryside and the mountains to the north and east of the island. We will be visiting the traditional little village of Sant Joan where you can admire the 18th century church and feel the vibe of its hippy past (HIPPY MARKET). If you like you can try the local Ibizan herb liqueur area and other typical island products in any of the village bars. In addition, there are a number of small shops, a supermarket, pharmacy, tobacconist’s… if you would like to do a spot of shopping. We will visit the village of Sant Vicent, with its 19th century church set in the heart of the countryside and continue on to Cala Sant Vicent, where you will have some time to sunbathe, swim or discover the local bars and restaurants while you enjoy the fabulous views of the little island of Tagomago. The return trip will take you through the lovely countryside of Sant Miquel.

Portinatx Tuesday 10:30h

Portinatx – Sant Miquel – Port Sant Miquel (HÖHL) – Sant Joan -Portinatx
Duration aprox. 3:30 hours. Departing from Portinatx with destination Port de Sant Miquel, we will be enjoying the views of Cala Xarraca on the way and travelling into the heart of the island’s countryside. In Port Sant Miquel you can choose one of two options: either spend approximately 1 hour 20 minutes on the beach, or visit the famous caves of Can Marçà which are over 100,000 years old (the entrance fee is not included in the trip price). We will then continue to the village of Sant Joan where we will stop for refreshments and where you can admire the 18th century church, and if you like you can taste the local Ibizan herb liqueur and other traditional products in any of the village bars. In addition, there are a number of small shops, a supermarket, pharmacy, tobacconist’s… if you would like to do a spot of shopping. We will return to Portinatx on the old road where you can view the typical country farmsteads and the colourful countryside in the northern part of the island.

Portinatx – Cala Xarraca – Playa Benirràs – Sant Joan – Portinatx
Duration aprox. 3:30 hours. Departing from Portinatx our route travels along the wonderful coastline of Cala Xarraca and we visit the isolated beach of Benirrás, famous for its various hippy activities, where you will have time to relax, swim and sunbathe. We will then continue to the traditional little village of Sant Joan, where you can admire the 18th century church, and if you like you can taste the local Ibizan herb liqueur and other traditional products in any of the village bars. In addition, there are a number of small shops, a supermarket, pharmacy, tobacconist's... if you would like to do a spot of shopping. We will return to Portinatx on the old road where you can view the typical country farmsteads and the colourful countryside in the northern part of the island.

With Cala Sant Vicent as our destination, you will be able to see the fantastic coastline of Cala Xarraca, and we will visit the traditional village of Sant Joan where we will stop for refreshments and where you can admire the 18th century church, and if you like you can taste the local Ibizan herb liqueur and other traditional products in any of the village bars. In addition, there are a number of small shops, a supermarket, pharmacy, tobacconist’s… if you would like to do a spot of shopping. We will then pass through the village of Sant Vicent where you can take a look at the 19th century church and then we will continue on to Cala Sant Vicent where there will be time to relax and enjoy the crystal-clear waters, as well as fabulous views of the little island of Tagomago.  From there we will return to Portinatx along the old road.
